We are high school sweethearts meeting in year 7, and although it was love at first sight for Melissa, Jayden took a little longer to come around. Through years of sharing classes, a friendship blossomed and in year 10, 2011, the lanky Culburra Cougar mustered up his courage and asked the brace-faced Swiftie on a date.
Since this time, we have continued to experience life together with long distance study throughout University (and those long drives to/from Wagga Wagga), travelled locally and abroad, bought our first home together in 2020 and welcomed our rascal fur-baby Zelda into the world in 2021.With big ideas to travel, Covid had other plans leading us to explore our new local area with picnics, nights in and an eventual proposal at the beautiful Minamurra River in January of 2022. Not only have we thrived and grown as a couple but as a family too. Spending most of our 16th year of life racking up our L-plate hours driving to and from each other's homes. Our families have definitely become one, sharing birthdays, celebrations and holidays together. Not to mention Melissa inheriting an additional 2 brothers, because 3 just wasn't enough. We are so grateful to each and every one of our friends and family for their love and support over the past 12 years and look forward to the opportunity to share our special day with you all!
